Going North to South Croatia or vice versa, Plitvice National Park is a must see. No matter the season, it is stunning.
UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979., Plitvice Lakes National Park has 16 freshwater lakes arranged in cascades, connected by streams, more than 90 waterfalls and is surrounded by lush forests.

Situated in rough mountainous region that makes this park even more magical, half-way between the coast and the capital of Croatia- Zagreb, Plitvice are, along with Dubrovnik, the single most visited site in Croatia.
